Account Deletion Policy

You may request deletion of your EvPaylaşımı account at any time. This page explains the 30-day restoration period, anonymization of direct identifiers, data deletion, and records that may be retained for limited security or legal purposes.

Account Deletion Guide

Follow these steps to delete your account:

Step 1: Go to Your Profile and Click 'Delete Account' Button

Go to your profile in the app and click the 'Delete Account' button in the 'Danger Zone' section at the bottom of the page.

Step 2: Read the Warnings and Confirm Your Request

Carefully read the warnings in the dialog box that opens. Optionally, you can state why you are closing your account. Then click the 'Delete Account' button to confirm the operation.

Step 3: Your Account Will Be On Hold for 30 Days

Your account is not deleted immediately. It will be on hold for 30 days and during this period you can restore your account by logging in.

Account Deletion Process

30-Day Waiting Period

After your account deletion request, a 30-day waiting period begins. During this period:

Your listings are unpublished immediately
Existing messaging history is preserved during the 30-day restoration period
Payment, security, and transaction records remain subject to applicable legal retention periods

Restoring Your Account

Within the 30-day waiting period, you can reactivate your account by logging in. In this case, your account will be restored and you will have access to all your data again.

Permanent Anonymization and Deletion

After 30 days, your account can no longer be restored; direct identifiers such as name and phone number are anonymized, your profile image is removed, and listings are deleted. Messaging and security records may be retained for the limited purposes described below.

Data Deleted or Anonymized

The following actions are performed after the 30-day period:

Your name is changed to 'Deleted User' and your phone number is replaced with a non-reversible anonymous value
Your profile photo is removed
Optional profile information such as occupation and hobbies is removed
Listings you published and listing-related records are deleted
Push notification subscriptions, notification preferences, and commercial communication consents are removed
Other direct identifiers that are no longer required are deleted or anonymized

Data Retained for Legal Reasons

The following data is retained for specific periods due to our legal obligations:

Payment Records: Payment and transaction records may be retained for the periods required by applicable financial law, evidence, and dispute limitation periods
System Logs: System logs for security and audit purposes (such as IP address, transaction time) are retained as required by law
Messages and Media Attachments: Messages may remain associated with an anonymized user to preserve the other party's conversation history. Deleted messages, images, and voice recordings may be retained in a restricted security archive for as long as necessary for complaints, moderation, abuse prevention, or legal disputes.

Important Notes

Your Listings: Active listings are unpublished when the account deletion request is submitted; listing records are deleted after the 30-day period

Your Messages: Users you have messaged may continue to see historical messages under the name 'Deleted User'. Messages and media attachments in the security archive may be reviewed only by authorized administrators for the stated purposes

Payments: If you have pending payments, you may experience issues with refund processes after the account deletion is completed. We recommend completing your cancellation and refund processes before deleting your account
